Adaptive Designs and Multiple Testing Procedures Workshop
1st - 3rd June 2026

We are delighted to announce the next annual workshop of the joint working group “Adaptive Designs and Multiple Testing Procedures” of the German (DR) and the Austrian-Swiss (ROeS) Regions of the International Biometric Society (IBS).

Where: Newcastle upon Tyne (in-person only).

When: The workshop will run from 2nd to 3rd June 2026 with pre-conference courses on 1st June 2026.

Short course: There will be pre-workshop short courses on

• Practitioner’s View of Adaptive Designs and
• Designing better trials: Advanced randomization methods for modern clinical research
on 1st June 2026, see here.

Abstract submission: Abstract submissions have now started. The last date for submission is January 31, 2026.

Registration: Registration will open from January 5, 2026.

Scientific Committee: Satrajit Roychoudhury (Pfizer), Alex Sverdlov (Novartis), Hongjian Zhu (Systimmune), Rahul Bhattacharya (Department of Statistics, University of Calcutta).
